TV Spot for Google No. 1 Slot

A team of BBC researchers were recently using the internet to find ‘North East award winning business leaders’ to form a team of ‘Big Shots’ to participate in the young persons business challenge programme ‘Beat the Boss’ against the team of ‘Bright Sparks’.

On page 1 of Google they found details of awards won by If we can, you can member Claire Glynn and her company and links to the companies web site, Claire is Creative Director of award winning web marketing company Atomic Web Solutions. After more detailed research into Claire and her company, the research team got in touch and asked her if she would like to appear on the show.

Soon after, Claire joined the other two ‘Big Shots’ to start the filming - Rebecca Philipson Director of In the Paper based in Durham and Umer Ashraf who runs icafe, a chain of internet cafes based in Glasgow.

Claire says “achieving good search engine rankings for your company website is critical. This is something we spend a lot of time doing for our clients and we help them achieve fantastic results which dramatically increase enquiry levels resulting in increased sales. Although as we’ve now discovered, being in that Number 1 Spot ourselves has certainly raised our profile by being offered a slot on TV.”

The team filmed for 2 days around the North East and then travelled down to the BBC in London to do the final day’s filming.
