Exciting times for Sandra

Sandra Turney Swim School Ltd is on track to better even last years' outstanding results in the Amateur Swimming Association's Swimtastic Awards 2010.

The ASA organises the Kellogg’s ASA Swimtastic Awards because it is a great opportunity to celebrate the amazing achievements of people across all levels of swimming and honour the unsung swimming stars out there.

Winners from ten categories are recognised with an action-packed swimming gala and a formal awards ceremony and dinner, where they are joined by Olympic, Paralympic and national swimmers, divers, sychronised swimmers and water polo players.

Last year Sandra Turney Swim School Ltd scooped an Outstanding Achievement Award, and teacher Sarah Knowles was presented with the Bronze in the Top Teacher Category.

With nominations from clients flooding in, Director Sandra Turney is confident of great news when the winners are announced later this year.

"I am extremely proud of my team and the work we do in promoting the sport of swimming. We currently teach over 200 babies, children and adults to swim each week in our partner venues across the North East and have enjoyed a 600% growth at a time when many businesses are struggling".
