THINKING DIGITAL CONFERENCE 2011 LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITE

The Thinking Digital Conference 2011 has officially launched its new website and announced its first eight speakers.

The Thinking Digital Conference is an inspirational retreat where you will be educated and entertained by some of the world’s most insightful, interesting and thought-provoking speakers. The new website will help delegates to connect and ‘meet’ before the actual event by allowing them to log in and create a personal profile once they have registered. The profile will include details of their job role, biography and social networking links and means that they can search through the ‘people library’ and begin building relationships prior to the conference.

Delegates will be able to search for people that they would like to develop business relationships with or that they’ve encountered in the past but not yet had the chance to meet. The system means that delegates can utilise their time at the conference and make arrangements to meet with people in advance.

Conference Founder, Herb Kim said: “The new website is natural next step for Thinking Digital. We had to make sure we were using the latest digital tools in order to facilitate and encourage the networking and relationship building which is so important to the conference experience and in helping businesses big & small get the most out of their conference experience.”

The first eight speakers for TDC have also been revealed and include Walter De Brouwer, Nancy Duarte, Sam Martin, Erin McKean, Magnus Lindkvist, Nicole Yershon, Caspar Berry and Tom Scott. Full biographies for the speakers can be viewed at www.thinkingdigital.co.uk/programme and guest posts from each will be featured on the site in the run up to the event. The line-up will see the speakers educate on the subjects of entrepreneurialism, visual communication, language, trend-spotting, advertising, risk-taking and decision making and much more.

Delegates can also use the website to find out more about the Newcastle and Gateshead area and find recommendations for hotels and restaurants as well as enjoying images and video content from Thinking Digital Conference 2010.

The conference takes place from 24th – 26th May 2011 at The Sage Gateshead. Tickets are currently priced at £340 (+VAT) for the Main Hall and £250 (+VAT) for the Livecast Lounge. You can buy tickets here www.thinkingdigital.co.uk/buy-tickets/.
